To whom it may concern:
My name is Reed Mansour and I am a graduate student at BU getting a MS in Health Communications. I am also involved with the American Public Health Association – Health Administration Section. I volunteer in their Communications Committee and I am their liaison for our new Facebook Page. I wanted to know if there is a possibility of getting our link onto your site. It is http://www.facebook.com/APHA.HealthAdmin
Also, I wanted to recommend the APHA to your members and getting involved in the Health Administration Section. The Health Administration Section serves as the backbone to the management of all types of public health offices/organizations throughout the world.
We have spent 100 years serving our members and supporting their efforts to improve the public’s health by improving and advancing the field of health administration. Founded in 1908, the original title of our section was the Municipal Health Officers section. By 1912, the section became known as the Public Health Officers section, and finally became known as the Health Administration Section in 1916. Over this long history, our section has served the needs of APHA members involved in health administration, particularly in local health departments.
Today, our membership reflects the field of public health. Anyone working to improve the public’s health and engaged in administration and leadership activities finds Health Administration to be a tremendous place to learn, network and share ideas.
We would like mto invite your members to join our section to network, exchange ideas, and contribute to our section. Our web page is http://www.apha.org/membergroups/sections/aphasections/healthadmin/
Thank you for your time and continued success!
Best regards,
R. Mansour
