Any interest in teaching health workshops in Boston public high schools? You are in luck. BU’s student organization Peer Health Exchange has several openings for next semester.
Peer Health Exchange is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to give teenagers the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. PHE does this by training college students to teach comprehensive health workshops in public high schools that lack health education. PHE partners with high schools in Boston, New York City, Chicago, and the Bay Area. PHE’s workshop topics include Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, Rape & Sexual Assault, Abusive Relationships, Healthy Relationships, STIs & HIV, Contraception, Sexual Decision Making and Communication and Physical Activity & Nutrition.
